On February 3, 2025, at approximately 9:45 p.m., Houston police responded to a shooting incident at 4500 Pershing Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 33-year-old Patrick Connelly with a gunshot wound. He was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The suspect is described as a Black male, aged between 25 and 30 years, with a slim build, wearing a puffer jacket, black pants, and red shoes. He was last seen fleeing the scene in a silver Dodge Ram pickup truck with Minnesota license plates LBD-112.
The Houston Police Department (HPD) has released surveillance photos of four individuals wanted for questioning in connection with this case. These persons of interest include three Black males and one Black female, all believed to be in their late teens or early twenties.
